The Zhik Youth Hydrophobic Fleece™ Top is a lightweight thermal baselayer designed to keep young sailors and paddlers warm in cooler conditions. Featuring naturally hydrophobic polypropylene fibres, a soft brushed fleece lining, and 4-way stretch, it delivers fast-drying warmth, comfort, and unrestricted movement on the water.

The Zhik Youth Hydrophobic Fleece™ Top is designed to keep young sailors and watersports athletes warm, dry, and comfortable during training and racing in cooler conditions. Ideal as a technical baselayer or lightweight mid-layer, it combines advanced thermal performance with outstanding moisture management for long days on the water.

Constructed from naturally hydrophobic polypropylene fibres, the fabric actively repels water rather than absorbing it. This helps the garment remain lightweight, dry quickly, and continue insulating even after repeated exposure to spray and rain. Unlike traditional water-repellent treatments alone, the hydrophobic properties are built into the fibre itself, meaning they won't wash out over time.

An environmentally responsible PFAS-free Durable Water Repellency (DWR) treatment provides an additional barrier against surface moisture, helping water bead and roll off the fabric while maintaining breathability.

The soft brushed fleece inner provides lightweight insulation without unnecessary bulk, keeping young athletes warm while allowing freedom of movement. Highly breathable construction helps regulate body temperature during active sailing, paddling, rowing, and other high-output watersports.
