The Zhik Men's Hydrophobic Fleece™ Top is a lightweight, high-performance thermal layer designed for sailing, paddling, rowing, and watersports in cool conditions. Featuring naturally hydrophobic polypropylene fibres, a soft brushed fleece lining, and 4-way stretch, it delivers warmth, fast drying comfort, and unrestricted movement without absorbing water.

The Zhik Men's Hydrophobic Fleece™ Top is engineered to provide lightweight warmth and exceptional moisture management for sailors and watersports athletes training and competing in cooler conditions. Designed to perform as either a technical baselayer or versatile mid-layer, it combines thermal comfort with outstanding water repellency and freedom of movement.

Unlike traditional fleece fabrics that absorb moisture, the Hydrophobic Fleece™ Top is constructed from naturally hydrophobic polypropylene fibres that actively repel water at the fibre level. This allows the garment to remain lighter, dry significantly faster, and maintain its insulating performance even in wet conditions. Because the water-repellent properties are inherent to the fibres, they won't wash out over time.

A PFAS-free Durable Water Repellency (DWR) treatment further enhances protection by encouraging water to bead and roll off the fabric surface while avoiding the use of harmful fluorinated chemicals.

The soft brushed fleece inner traps warmth without adding unnecessary bulk, making it ideal for cool mornings, winter training sessions, and changing weather conditions. Highly breathable construction allows excess heat and moisture to escape during high-output activity, helping regulate body temperature throughout the day.
