Manufactured from high-strength anodised aluminium, each unit weighs only 12 grams yet delivers an exceptional breaking load capacity of up to 1000kg, depending on the strength of the attachment system used. This outstanding strength-to-weight ratio makes the SHOCK™ ideal for demanding dinghy, skiff, and small sailboat applications where performance optimisation is essential.

The design is highly tolerant of off-axis loading, allowing the line to run smoothly even when alignment is not perfectly straight. This makes it particularly effective in dynamic rigging environments where angles constantly change during manoeuvres.

The RF8081 Large SHOCK™ is compatible with 3–10mm line and can also be used with up to 10mm webbing attachments, providing excellent versatility across a wide range of rigging configurations.
