The Windex Dinghy Wind Vane 150mm (6") is a compact masthead wind indicator designed specifically for dinghies, small multihulls, and other small sailing craft.
Built with the same precision engineering found across the Windex range, the indicator features a sapphire jewel suspension bearing that allows the vane to rotate with extremely low friction. This ensures the vane reacts quickly to subtle wind shifts, helping sailors maintain the correct angle and maximise boat speed.
The large fin and low inertia vane provide excellent sensitivity even in light wind conditions. This responsiveness is particularly valuable for dinghy sailors where small wind changes can have a significant impact on performance.
Designed for versatility, the Windex Dinghy vane can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on the rig configuration. The included rubber cord mounting system allows the vane to be easily attached to tubes between 45–70 mm in diameter, making it suitable for a wide range of dinghies and small multihull setups.
