The Windex 10C Wind Vane 250mm (10") is a compact and highly accurate masthead wind indicator designed for smaller cruising and racing boats between 3 and 6 metres (10–20 feet).

Built with the precision engineering that has made Windex one of the most widely trusted wind indicators in sailing, the vane features a sapphire jewel suspension bearing. This ultra-low friction bearing allows the vane to rotate smoothly and react quickly to even the smallest wind shifts, helping sailors maintain the correct trim and sailing angle.

The large fin and low inertia vane improve sensitivity and stability, providing clear and reliable wind direction feedback from the masthead. This responsiveness is especially valuable on smaller boats where subtle wind changes can have a significant impact on performance.

The easy-to-read adjustable tacking tab system allows sailors to set reference angles for efficient upwind sailing. Once adjusted, the tabs provide a quick visual guide from the cockpit, helping crews maintain optimal trim while racing or cruising.

Reflective tape on the vane and tacking tabs improves visibility in low light conditions, making the indicator easier to see during twilight sailing or night passages.

Supplied with the Medium Unifix 10 mounting bracket, the wind vane can be installed vertically or horizontally depending on the masthead configuration. Lightweight and durable, the Windex 10C provides dependable wind indication while adding minimal weight aloft.
