The Vaikobi Hiker Force Suit Gen2 is engineered for sailors who demand uncompromising support, durability, and comfort during extended hiking sessions on high-performance dinghies. Developed in partnership with Brett Beyer, a 15-time Laser Masters World Champion and elite sailing coach, the updated design reflects years of real-world racing and coaching experience.

Designed to deliver powerful hiking support while maintaining mobility, the Gen2 version introduces a series of refinements that enhance durability, comfort, and performance under load. The high-load batten pad area has been heavily reinforced with multiple layers of 1000D Cordura and additional internal strengthening, improving durability in the zones that take the most punishment during aggressive hiking.

A refined ergonomic fit improves comfort and usability, with enhanced shaping through the thigh and seat areas to make the suit easier to put on and remove. Thinner material around the ankles and waist reduces bulk and increases flexibility, allowing more natural movement when transitioning between manoeuvres.

The integrated dynamic body support system features adjustable waist and back support, helping stabilise the lower body while hiking hard. Inside the suit, upgraded fabrics absorb less water, reducing weight during wet sailing sessions and helping maintain comfort throughout long days on the water.

The proven external fixed batten system remains a key performance feature, with four unbreakable extruded fibreglass battens in each leg providing consistent structural support. Reinforced flatlock seams improve durability while allowing controlled water entry to assist with cooling during high-output sailing.
