The Ronstan Series 40 Orbit Block™ Auto Ratchet (RF46100) combines lightweight performance with automatic ratchet engagement for effortless sail control. Designed for high-performance dinghies and small keelboats, this block intelligently engages the ratchet when loads increase, delivering exceptional holding power and precise trimming without needing to switch modes manually.

Built with high-load fibre-reinforced polymer cheeks and a stainless steel head post, the Orbit 40 offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio and durability. The advanced 10:1 holding power ratchet system provides a confident grip under load while allowing smooth, fast easing during manoeuvres. Its low-friction acetal ball bearings ensure smooth rotation, making it ideal for mainsheets, spinnaker sheets, and control lines.

Single ratchet block with fully Automatic load sensing ratchet engagement and swivel shackle head. With automatic models, the ratchet mechanism engages when load is applied, but switches off when it's released. This lets the sheet run out smoothly and freely-great for rapid easing of the sheet and for gybing asymmetric spinnakers.
